Friends of TYC (which exists for the sole purpose of supporting the ministry of TYC) has full financial and operational control of TYC, including publicity efforts, the provision of necessary supplies and services, and the securing of a general liability insurance policy to protect the conference participants and leadership. In short, there is a cost to organizing TYC each year, and Friends of TYC has assumed the responsibility for covering these expenses. Please consider making an unrestricted donation to our General Fund to help offset these expenses and help keep TYC funded for the foreseeable future.

Each year, the TYC Leadership is approached by youth/young adults who want to attend TYC but who are unable to come up with enough money to pay the entire registration fee - even after exhausting other sources of funding, such as sponsorships from their church or gifts from extended family. We believe that TYC should be accessible to anyone who is eligible to participate and that a lack of the necessary funds should never be the reason a youth cannot attend. To this end, we have worked to secure the funding necessary to enable many to participate over the years. This, of course, is not possible without the generosity of those who have a heart for TYC and/or youth ministry. Please consider donating to Friends of TYC to help ensure that those who cannot afford to attend are able to do so.

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of the adult staff and that of their collective expertise to the success of TYC. The sacrifices these individuals make in order to participate, be it the time spent away from their families or taking paid time away from work for the privilege of volunteering, is greatly appreciated. But because they already give so much, we cannot ask these dedicated staff persons to pay a registration fee. Neither can we simply raise the registration fee to cover these costs; TYC must remain cost-competitive with other youth camps/events. Please consider donating to help offset these expenses.
